2 lbs (or 4 links) of Dearborn Brand Smoked Kielbasa, sliced on diagonal
2 granny smith apples, sliced and seeded
1 small onion, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced and seeded
2 tbsp of butter
¼ cup light brown sugar
½ cup apple cider

  • In a Dutch oven – over medium heat – melt butter and sauté the onions, red peppers and apples until somewhat softened
  • Add Dearborn Brand Smoked Kielbasa and cook for 5 minutes – stirring occasionally
  • Add brown sugar and stir – then add apple cider
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes – stirring occasionally until some liquid is reduced
