1.5 lbs Dearborn Brand Sliced Bacon, diced
1.5 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
1 cup chicken stock
2 tbsp butter
1 clove garlic, sliced
freshly squeezed lemon juice to taste
salt and ground black pepper to taste

  • Add Dearborn Brand Sliced Bacon to large skillet over medium-low heat and cook about 10 minutes, until golden brown and crispy
  • Add Brussels sprouts cut-side down; sauté in bacon grease for 2-3 minutes, until lightly browned
  • Add garlic and sauté 1-2 minutes, until fragrant
  • Add chicken stock to skillet, bring to a boil; lower to simmer, cover with lid and cook 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until liquid is reduced to about half
  • Remove from heat and stir in butter, lemon juice, salt and pepper
  • Serve right away
